Strawberry Cloud Smoothie
The Ultimate Healthy After School Snack For Kids
Struggling to find ways to get your little ones to nosh down on vitamins and all that’s healthy? Desperate times call for desperate measures. Hiding the 'healthy stuff' into a smoothie may be the solution, along with inspiring your kids to get creative in the kitchen. Why not make nutritious food fun with our strawberry cloud smoothie, which parents can indulge in too? Create fond childhood memories and put your Limae blender to educational use.
Our strawberry cloud smoothie is as dreamy and as creamy as it looks. Dress up your drink with a fluffy pink hue, packed with health benefits your youngsters won’t be able to resist. It’s a reminder of halcyon summer holidays that's to come, where the sky is sweeping with snow white tufts of clouds. Our edible delight demonstrates the winning power of bouncy dolloped whipped cream and frozen yoghurt arranged in such a way that it’s suspended in our Limae blender glass. Thanks to the simplest combination of blended fruit, our recipe will perk up your kids on sluggish hot school days and stir the imagination as cooking switches on various parts of the brain.
Educating your child about the world of food and where it comes from aids in their ability to execute health-conscious decisions later on in life. Some additional benefits include:
Builds On Basic Math Skills. Help your kids hone their mathematical abilities by executing simple engagements such as counting the ice cubes and amount of fruit that goes into a smoothie.
Encourages A More Adventurous Palette. If you’re struggling with picky eaters, bringing them into the world of cooking may encourage them to open up to new tastes. Letting your child play chef might inspire them to try out different sample dishes, helping them build up a colourful culinary imagination and palate.
Enhances Literacy Skills And Increases Vocabulary. Reading aloud recipes encourages literacy and vocabulary extension. Following cooking directions can also encourage strong active listening skills, which aid in creating better interpersonal relationships at work and in personal life later on. Handing over particular offensive or strong-smelling items such as fish sauce can help kids to think of as many words possible to describe the smell, enhancing vocabulary.
Instils Confidence. You might find your child has newfound self-conviction as creating dishes provides an opportunity to gain a sense of accomplishment. Let your kids enjoy showing off.
So what crucial culinary skills should we bestow on our children? Chefs’ advise keeping recipes as simple as possible. Kids’ enthusiasm can drop off a cliff abruptly, so be quick to do the boring parts. Embracing stranger ingredients can help turn things around if attention spans start to wane. If enthusiasm continues to waver, go all out on smoothie toppings. Our recipe also involves kids pouring water into moulds themselves. And then, while they wait for them to freeze, they learn the art of patience. Imagine.
Strawberry Cloud Smoothie
● 5 Tbsp Frozen Yoghurt
● 1⁄3 Cup Of Milk
● 2 Ripe Peaches
● 4 Strawberries
● 1⁄2 A Banana
● 5 Ice Cubes
● Whipped Cream (as much as desired)
1. Prepare the ice cubes the night before by pouring water into an ice cube tray.
2. Blend ALL fruit and ice cubes. This makes the “smoothie part.” Pour the liquid
into a separate cup.
3. Rinse out the blender and blitz up 4 scoops of frozen yoghurt and milk until thick and creamy.
4. Pour out the mixture into a separate glass. You now have two glasses- one for the fruit and one for the cloud mixture.
5. Pour a small amount of the fruit mixture into your Limae glass and add the frozen yoghurt mixture on top while swirling it in a circular motion to form a cloud shape. Next, pour in part of the fruit blend. Repeat the process until you reach the top.
6. Add whipped cream, sprinkles and any toppings your heart desires atop your smoothie.
